Two girls arrested over primary school fire ‘arson’

The BBC is reporting that two teenage girls have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a primary school in Suffolk, which gutted a classroom.

More than 20 firefighters from Suffolk and Cambridgeshire were called to Exning Primary School near Newmarket at about 00:50 BST on Friday.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested on Saturday and has been bailed to return to police later this month.

A 17-year-old girl was arrested earlier and is being questioned by police…

Updates on when children can return to the school are being posted on the school’s website.
