Today’s poll: Should siblings get priority places in schools?

Reports suggest that Wandsworth Council is considering scrapping the siblings rule for admissions because “in some schools virtually all the places are offered to siblings, some of whom live far from the school, while children who live nearby are denied a place”. Would this be a welcome move or should siblings get priority places?

    SchoolsImprove bizarre that sibling pref and distance from sch conflict: if all local schools were good ‘choice’ would be less of an issue!
