Today’s poll: Should maintained schools be able to sponsor struggling schools?

The LGA is claiming there is very little capacity for existing academy chains to take on additional struggling schools, despite the introduction of legislation that will mean all schools rated ‘inadequate’ will need to become sponsored academies – so should, as the LGA proposes, high-performing maintained schools be able to take on the role as sponsors?
