Today’s poll: Are unisex toilets in secondary schools a good idea?

Parents in one secondary school that has recently introduced unisex toilets are concerned it may lead to increased bullying and underage sex. The school thinks it will help reduce bullying that occurs in ‘intimidating single sex toilet blocks’.  Do you think unisex toilets in secondary school are a good idea?

    SchoolsImprove Yes. Had them for 5 years. No bullying, no internal skiving, no hanging around at lunch, civilised, clean – de-schooled.

    SchoolsImprove Anyone who says unisex toilets are a bad idea cannot actually have seen them in a school. Bright and open means no bullying.

    SchoolsImprove The young people in our Academy given the choice voted for them. I had my doubts but they love them #unisex
