The Evening Standard is reporting that three people were arrested yesterday after a teenage boy was stabbed at a school in south-west London.
The 15-year-old was knifed in the leg at the Southfields Academy in Wandsworth just after 3pm this afternoon.
Maurice Mcleod tweeted after the incident: “Schoolboy stabbed at Southfields Academy after a gang of boys rushed the school terrifying students and teachers.”
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at approximately 3.10pm to reports of male, believed aged 15, suffering a stab injury to the leg after an incident in the lobby area of a secondary school in Merton Road, SW18.
“London Ambulance Service attended and the male was treated – his injury is not serious.”
