Scottish school pupils could be in class just one day a week for next YEAR

Scottish pupils will spend as little as one day a week in class under plans for part-time schooling from August with exams in danger of being cancelled for a second year in a row.

Education Secretary John Swinney has warned that life in schools across the country is unlikely to return to normal in the next academic year.
