The Liverpool Echo is reporting that bus company has accused school pupils of leaving a “disgusting” heap of wet tissues on one of its buses.
Peoples Bus, which provides services for Maghull High School…shared a photo of a giant heap of wet tissues and bottles at the bottom of the stairs on the 741 bus.
A comment above the picture read: “This is the disgusting condition that this evening’s 741 service from Maghull High has returned to the depot in!!
“What makes pupils think this is acceptable? You try and provide clean, accessible, warm buses, only for them to be abused!!”
The company deleted the post hours later and Maghull High headteacher Mark Anderson appeared unimpressed that the bus firm had taken to social media…
Mr Anderson said… “The school treats any incident in relation to the conduct or safety of our pupils on public transport seriously by working with both Merseytravel and the bus companies who provide the service.
“We think that this is a far more appropriate and effective means than commenting through social media.”
Peoples Bus posted the comment last Tuesday, February 9, and deleted it hours later…”
