Parents let rip over cuts to schools

The Sunday Times is reporting that families will be urged to tweet the prime minister and their local MP with how much their school is due to lose under a new funding formula being introduced by ministers.

The article continues:

The campaign using the Twitter hashtag #SchoolsJustWannaHaveFunds is being launched by a coalition of parents’ groups, including Rescue Our Schools.

It comes as a report this week is expected to warn that schools are facing the biggest cuts for 30 years.

The Department for Education, however, said school funding was at record levels.
