Gov.uk reports that schools can now download and use a ‘good provider’ or ‘outstanding provider’ logo to display their official ratings.
The designs for the logos were created following feedback from organisations the watchdog have previously inspected, and after a review of existing policy and guidance on the use of the new logo.
Education providers can use their unique reference number to download the relevant logo in a variety of formats for use on their own websites, stationery and other materials.
Ofsted said that they are conscious that parents and learners rely on them as a mark of quality and as a result only providers holding good or outstanding marks can apply the logo to their branding materials.
Will the unique reference number to download the logos prevent its unauthorised use? Please tell us your thoughts in the comments or on Twitter ~ Tamsin
