Marcus Rashford: Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown backs Manchester United star’s call to end child food poverty

The Scotsman reports …

Boris Johnson should consider Marcus Rashford’s proposals to extend free school meals during the Christmas and mid-term holidays “personally”, according to former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Yesterday Downing Street indicated that ministers would not provide free school meals to children in England during the Christmas break.
