‘Lots of parents are unhappy’: Anger over schools ‘continuing to charge full fees’

Bristol Live reports that a parent has accused two Bristol schools of “unfairly” continuing to charge full fees.

The dad, who did not wish to be named, believes private schools should lower fees while children are not attending due to the coronavirus lockdown.

His child attends the mixed all-through Bristol Grammar School, on Clifton’s University Road, which charges up to £5,014 a term for a pupil’s education.

More than 1,300 pupils normally attend, but only around 30 children of key workers have been going in since Covid-19 restrictions came in.
