June 1 ‘is earliest possible opening time for schools’, heads say

The Evening Standard reports …

Schools are unlikely to re-open until June 1 at the earliest, the leader of the head teachers’ union has said. Geoff Barton, general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), told the BBC that planning would need “to begin very soon” to hit the June 1 target.
