How safe is it to send children back to school?

Students across the UK have headed back to the classroom in the past week, for the first time since March, when schools were closed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Despite concerns raised by parents, the Government has repeatedly stressed that schools will be safe for their children, with Education Secretary Gavin Williamson saying: ‘If a child is not in school, they stand to lose far more than just a few months of learning. It could well put a huge dent in their future life chances.’
