Gavin Williamson says keeping children out of school risks ‘huge dent in their future life chances’

Daily Mail reports …

Gavin Williamson has insisted he will not resign and continue to ‘graft away’ while warning that parents who do not send their children back to school risk putting a ‘huge dent in their future life chances’. In an open letter to parents, the Education Secretary acknowledged that some parents may have concerns about their children attending school in England for the first time since March, with millions set to return to the classroom from next week.
