Coronavirus: Dr Hilary explains when to close schools and says no testing is a ‘concern’

Mirror is reporting that Good Morning Britain ‘s guest Dr Hilary explained when exactly schools in England should close over the coronavirus this morning.

Host Piers Morgan was quizzing him on the fact some schools in London were closing but some were remaining open, and questioning how safe this was.

But Dr Hilary argued schools should only shut once we have been able to identify hotspots of the virus, but as healthcare professionals are not testing everybody for it, we can’t identify hotspots.

The doctor also added: “If you put people in lockdown too early, what happens when they come out of lockdown?”
