Children as young as four sent home for attacking teachers as numbers hit record high

Children as young as four are being sent home from school on a daily basis for attacking teachers and pupils. Figures show suspensions and expulsions are now the worst on record and have more than doubled in the past six years. Every day 50 of the nation’s youngest pupils, between Reception age and Year 2, are being kicked out of class.
