The Mirror is reporting that a teacher who sent a female pupil sexually suggestive messages on Facebook including “I wanted to f*** you silly” has been banned from the classroom for life…
Ian Jones also posted messages using the terms “big bum” and “tosser” over the three-day period.
The 40-year-old, who had a decade of experience, sparked up an online conversation with the girl and suggested her boyfriend was cheating on her.
He then told the pupil about his own marital troubles and sex life at home, telling her he “wasn’t getting any at all”.
A misconduct panel found Mr Jones “guilty of a serious departure” from professional standards when he made several “inappropriate” remarks, according to the National College for Teaching and Leadership.
The inquiry panel found Mr Jones had used inappropriate language including “a stark final message” to the girl on Facebook, bluntly expressing a sexual interest in her.
Mr Jones had claimed he was under stress at the time, both personally and professionally, and was about to leave his job at the school.
The panel concluded with Mr Jones receiving a ban on teaching in any school or college, without the possibility of a review…
Mr Jones has 28 days to appeal against the decision.
